Shocking moment women gets electrocuted while fetching water from borewell in southern India
by Surya PrakashIn a shocker, a woman was seen being electrocuted after she had arrived to take some water from a borewell in southern India’s Karnataka.
This incident occurred in Banahatti town of Bagalkot district of the state on April 3.
CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the lady suffered electrocution. The woman, identified as a 30-year-old named Shruti Hasalkar, walked to the spot with her bucket and put it close to the borewell from where she could take out the water. She subsequently moved on towards an electronic board attached to a pole, presumably to switch on the flow of water when this incident of electrocution happened. For quite a while, the lady remained still as she was being electrocuted. A man who was behind her, seemingly panicked and later on, the woman fell down on the road with a thud. However, it was learnt that the woman fortunately survived after being electrocuted.
