Vigilant cop saves members of family trying to board moving train in northern India

An alert cop saved the life of three members of a family who were trying to board a moving train in northern India’s Bihar.

The incident took place at Jamalpur Railway Station, Munger district on August 6.

Visuals showed three members of the family trying to board a moving train. The father first sent his child inside along with his wife. When he finally tried to board the train, all three of them slipped and got dragged by the vehicle for a few meters. The vigilant cop immediately reached the spot and pulled the victims away from the moving train.

A huge crowd gathered around the incident spot. The man was seen indicating to the people on the train to pull the chain.

Speaking to Newslions, Railway Protection Force officer Mukesh Kumar Sapet said that LC. Simpi Kumari saved the parents and son from falling under the moving train. The incident took place on Platform number 1 when the victims were trying to board the Malda Town Intercity Express.
