Vigilant cops rescue man who slips while deboarding in moving train in eastern India
Two brave cops were seen saving the life of a man who slipped while getting off a moving train in eastern India’s West Bengal.
The incident took place at Bardhaman Railway Station, Purba Bardhaman district on August 21.
Visuals showed the man getting dragged by the moving train while he held on to its handle. The cops present at the platform rushed toward the victim and pulled him away from the moving train. A huge crowd gathered around the incident spot.

Speaking to Newslions, Railway Protection Force officer Ashis Kumar Sarkar said that 40-year-old Pratap Mondal was travelling from Saraighat Express when the incident took place. He was rescued by RPF Head Constable Satpati and Constable Amitav Mondal. The incident took place on platform number two.
He stated that he and his wife came to Burdwan station to travel to Malda. He further stated that he is a diabetic patient and had boarded in one sleeper coach to use the washroom.
Fortunately, the passenger didn’t sustain any injury and was feeling fine. In the meantime, his wife also appeared. Both of them appreciated the RPF personnel for the life-saving action.
