Youth on bike open fire at public service centre operator in northern India

Two bikers engaged in a collision led to a confrontation. The situation escalated when two youths arrived brandishing firearms and targeted an operator of public service center.

The incident took place at Kathphori Bazaar near Shani Dev Mandir in Suhaagnagari area of Firozabad on June 10.

Visuals showed two individuals riding a motorcycle were seen firing while moving, as captured by the cameras of onlookers in the vicinity.

A collision between two motorcycles sparked a dispute between their riders. Attempting to defuse the situation, Kuldeep, the operator of a nearby public service center, intervened. However, the altercation took a violent turn when two individuals arrived on a bike and opened fire at Kuldeep near his shop.

The brazen daylight shooting sent shockwaves through the market, with shopkeepers capturing the assailants on their mobile phones. Following the incident, Superintendent of Police, Praveen Kumar Chaurasia, along with Station Officer Baijnath Singh, rushed to the scene to launch an investigation.

Police revealed that the suspects hail from the Karhal area of Mainpuri district. An investigation into the incident has been initiated, and efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrators.

The incident underscores the need for heightened vigilance and security measures to ensure the safety of citizens in public spaces.
