Auto rickshaw plunges into gorge in northern India, two left injured
In a tragic incident, a speeding auto rickshaw plunged into a gorge in northern India’s Jammu And Kashmir.
The incident took place near Malik Market Sangaldan, Ramban district on May 9.
Visuals showed the electric auto rickshaw suddenly turning right while moving and falling into a gorge.
Authorities reported that a JK19A-5873 registered electric car traveling from Jammu to Gool lost control at Goirikhad Nullah, Gool, and plunged into a ravine. According to police, the driver died instantly, while two passengers sustained injuries and were promptly taken to PHC Sangaldan.
The deceased driver was identified as Tanveer Ahmed, aged 22, son of Abdul Latief Bhat from Moila, Gool, and the injured were identified as his siblings Tahir Ahmed, aged 24, and Sohil Ahmed, aged 26.
