Fire triggered by gas cylinder explosion in eastern India wreaks havoc
Panic ensued among residents of a locality after a fire erupted at a house triggered by a gas cylinder explosion, in eastern India’s Odisha.
This incident happened in Pattapole area of Cuttack district on May 4.
Visuals showed a scene from the locality where smoke and fire kept billowing out of the house and it was followed by a horrific explosion which saw flares spread to all the adjacent areas.
After the cylinder explosion, there was chaos in the entire area.
According to the reports, as soon as the information about this was received, police and administration teams reached the spot. The fire department vehicles brought the fire under control after a lot of effort. However, in the fire incident, the entire house and the items kept inside were burnt to ashes.
