Forest officials rescued a 7-foot-long python trapped in a net in western India’s Maharashtra.

The incident took place at Juna Bazar in Sawantwadi on November 23.

Visuals showed the forest department official cutting the net in which the python was trapped, while another assisted him.

In another image, the official was seen holding the leopard that had been rescued and was entangled in his hand.

According to reports, Salim Karol, a resident of Sawantwadi, noticed a python trapped in a net in the stream flowing near his house during the afternoon. He immediately reported this to the forest department. Accordingly, the rescue team of Sawantwadi forest ranger Madan Kshirsagar, forest guard Ramesh Patil, and forest assistant Baban Redkar promptly reached the spot.
